Today we visited Udaipur, the lake palaces and the city palace before we had a nice evening in the Hilltop Palace Hotel.

Today we started with a jeep ride through a panter and leopard area – unfortunately or luckily we did not meet them. Destination was Kumbhalgarh Fort on the highest mountain range there. Spectacular views.

On this long day we visited a village where we got dressed like the locals, visited the most beautiful Jain temple in Ranakpur (all pics on real cam, sorry) and are awaiting dinner in Narlai now!

We visited the great Meherangarh Fort on top of the so called blue city. Afterwards there was a good shopping opportunity for clothing before we drove on to Rohet for the night.

Yesterday we arrived in a luxurious desert tent camp after a speedy jeep ride. Another camel tour, ours was young and a bit nervous 🙂 There was a local band and a dancing performance. After a very cold night in the tents we are now heading to Jodhpur!

After another long drive we reached Jaisalmer within the Tar desert. Here we visited Jaisalmer Fort, old Havelis, a water reservoir… In the afternoon we will ride a camel and watch the sunset in the desert!
